DEDA is a dialogical decision tool that assists data analysts, project managers, and policy makers to recognize ethical issues in data projects, data management, and data policies. Originally developed in an iterative design process between the Utrecht Data School and the Utrecht Municipality, it has now been translated into several languages, such as german, english, swedish, finish and greek. This toolkit facilitates the deliberation and documentation of ethical critical dimensions, facilitates compliance by educating users, and supports project management.
